Session 1 (4 hours)
Module 1 – Leveraging AIS for Functional Use in R\/3 (2 hours)
- Review of R\/3 processes and database tables pertinent to auditing.
- Collecting functional evidence via standard SAP GUI transactions.
Module 2 – Process-Centric Access Management (2 hours)
- Designing roles and managing access using PFCG and SU01.
- Utilizing SU53 and SUIM for rapid troubleshooting.
- Constructing a RACI matrix by process and addressing practical SoD issues.
Session 2 (4 hours)
Module 3 – FI\/CO with an Emphasis on Controls (2 hours)
- Configuring OB52, tolerance limits, and accounting authorizations.
- Managing journal entry approvals and capturing evidence through standard workflows.
- Tracking changes to accounting master data and bank account details.
Module 4 – MM\/SD with an Emphasis on Controls (2 hours)
- MM: Implementing purchase release strategies, managing price adjustments, and condition records.
- SD: Establishing credit limits, pricing structures, and discount conditions.
- Gathering evidence through change documents, system logs, and reports.
Session 3 (4 hours)
Module 5 – Logs and Operational Evidence (3 hours)
- Analyzing SM20 logs (what, who, when) in functional contexts.
- Using SCU3 to monitor changes in master data (vendors, customers, materials, conditions).
- Evaluating transaction execution via STAD\/ST03N.
- Exporting data (ALV\/CSV\/PDF) and compiling annexes.
Module 6 – Quality Assurance and Testing (1 hour)
- Designing test cases with clear acceptance criteria and minimal evidence requirements.
Session 4 (4 hours)
Module 7 – Applied Process Laboratory (3 hours)
- Mini-project: Executing purchase and sales cycles including exceptional scenarios.
- Collecting evidence and assembling a complete dossier.
Module 8 – Conclusion and Operational Transition (1 hour)
- Defining operational checklists and periodic control schedules.
- Reviewing best practices for audits and regulatory adherence.
